With each iteration of 2K comes an ample amount of changes and additions for players to check out, and one of the most exciting aspects each year is the player ratings. Of course, most of the talk surrounds which players have the best overall ratings. Let’s break down the best overall NBA players in NBA 2K23 who can lead you to success.

1. LeBron James — 98

LeBron James

As an all-around threat, LeBron James can be the primary ballhandler on offense (A+) and can score from any distance: interior (A+), mid-range (A), and deep (B-). If you have enough NBA MT, you can use him in MYTEAM successfully.

2. Giannis Antetokounmpo — 97

Giannis Antetokounmpo

As a two-way slashing playmaker, Giannis Antetokounmpo is a guaranteed bucket in the interior (A). He’s improved his jump shot to be more respectable from mid-range(C).

3. Nikola Jokic — 97

Nikola Jokic is one of the best playmaking big men (A+) in the league when he’s not already scoring himself from the interior (A+), middle of the court (A+), or beyond the arc (A-).
