The release of NBA 2K23 is finally here, and with it comes rating debates. This article will show the best point guards in the NBA 2K23 based on these players’ performances and abilities.

Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry

As always, Stephen Curry is the best Point Guard player there is. The Golden State superstar notched his fourth title and won his first Finals MVP. While Stephen Curry doesn’t put up the insane box score stats some of the other point guards do, he is the best off-ball player in the league, and his movement on the court allows him to create havoc for opposing defenses. He is still an insanely good on-ball player as well, and offensively, it’s fair to say that Stephen Curry is the full package. With an astounding overall of 96, he is of an Offensive Threat archetype and has 36 badges in total. In MyTEAM, his price is exorbitant, but you can use him by buying NBA 2k23 mt through U4GM.

Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic from Slovenia comes second, despite being one of the youngest, as the best Point Guard in NBA 2K23, with an overall of 95. Luka burst onto the scene in 2018, and since then he’s had three all-star appearances, made it to the Western Conference Finals, and made the All-NBA team multiple times. He is well-known for his ability as a three-level scorer and a top-tier playmaker. Doncic also has the Offensive Threat archetype with 39 badges.

Ja Morant

Ja Morant

Ja Morant, one of the names with just 3 years of NBA experience under his belt, comes in third with an overall of 93 and 30 badges on his profile. His explosiveness, scoring ability, and play-making have propelled the young point guard into superstar status. During the last season, Ja Morant achieved 27.4 points, 0.04 blocks, 1.2 steals per game, and 5.7 rebounds, and his scoring ability and athletic skills have earned him great ratings. Ja Morant is of archetype offensive Threat.

Chris Paul

Chris Paul

The 2-Way Slashing Playmaker of Phoenix Suns, Chris Paul, has an NBA 2K23 rating of 90 and 37 badges to show off as one of the best Point Guard players in NBA 2K23. During the last season, he played 65 games and took the league in 10.8 assists per game while also averaging 14.7 points, 1.9 steals, and 1.9 assists with shooting percentages of 0.493, 0.317, and 0.837. It is clear that he’s lost some of his athleticism and 3PT shooting ability, but he makes up for that with his experience and passing ability. However, there is potential for that rating to improve throughout the year, especially if Chris Paul improves his 3PT shooting efficiency.

Trae Young

Trae Young

Another Offensive Threat archetype Point Guard Trae Young comes in with an overall of 90 and 35 badges. The 23-year-old led the entire NBA in both total points (2155) and total assists (737) while also shooting 90.4% from the free throw line, the first player to achieve the feat since Nate Archibald. The achievement shows his scoring and playmaking prowess and durability.
