The alley-oop is one of the coolest moves that we enjoyed seeing in the NBA 2K series. Doing an alley-oop pass in NBA 2k21 is similar to previous years. You can do an alley-oop pass at any time by pressing a button, but you shouldn’t use it all the time. Here’s how to alley-oop in NBA 2K21.
How To Alley Oop in NBA 2K21?

To pull this off without the ball, all you have to make sure that your character is running towards the basket, and as you are in the clear simply press the designated button and you will pull this off.

This is done by having hold of the ball, double-tapping the above button prompt again (Triangle, Y, X), and holding the left analog stick in the direction of the basket so your player drives towards it.
You will need to make sure you’ve got enough space between your player and the basket for them to pull off the move, but as long as you do, prepare to make your opponent rage.
Alley-Oop Tips
Here are alley-oop tips that factor into the success rate of an alley-oop:
• Helps to have a good passer to throw the oop + a good dunker to finish it.
• Make sure to take a good angle to finish the alley-oop.
• Make sure there’s a clear path to the hoop.
• As an alley-oop finisher, try to be in sync with the passer and vice versa for opportunities to perform alley-oops.
• Utilize baseline backdoor cuts.
• Equip the Lob City Finisher Badge or Lob City Passer Badge (if throwing the lob).
• Increase Driving Dunk attribute (MyPLAYER) or use NBA players w/high dunk ratings.
